The Ecole Internationale de New York

111 E. 22nd St. | New York, NY | 646-410-2238 |

The Ecole Internationale de New York encourages the success of each student in a diverse, multicultural environment that combines the excellence of French and American academics. The school offers students the opportunity to think critically and work independently in multiple educational systems. It aspires to develop well educated, well rounded, responsible and compassionate world citizens.

EINY combines the best of the French system with the best of the American system, offering students the rigorous, more classical and disciplined instruction so prominent in French schools and the more fluid teaching of the American system which encourages critical thinking, questioning, and creativity. EINY will offer a third and fourth language to the core curriculum, making the school international as opposed to bilingual, and will further enrich the academic experience.

A EINY education exposes children to a “global” knowledge, drawing out the potential within each student, while encouraging them to be lifelong learners. By its very nature, EINY’s international education broadens the opportunities to accomplish these goals. Students of EINY learn to speak, think, and cooperate in at least three languages; they work with teachers and classmates from countries other than their own, resulting in a rich academic experience.

EINY promotes diversity at all levels and educates its student body on all cultures, its unique essence and entity. Students from multiple nationalities and languages, races, and socio-economic backgrounds attend the school and are exposed to a bilingual French immersion program as well as other languages that will be supported by the French and American curricula and other programs. EINY students are exposed to a variety of cultural programs through EINY’s partnerships with New York’s artistic, historical and cultural communities. This symbiosis of cultures and programs make EINY unique and attractive through the experiences of many human expressions and differences.

The  EINY 2017 Summer Camp will take place from June 26 to July 14, 2017 for children 3 to 10 years old. The camp is open to all children including those who have no French or English background. Come and get a taste of French!

This new summer camp will provide a fun and bilingual experience in French and English through activities like art, dance, music, sports, and cultural excursions at our campus located in the Flatiron Neighborhood.

Our camp staff is composed of EINY teachers and specialty teachers from the EINY After-School program who are experienced and trained to work with language learners of all levels. All the members of our staff are native speakers of French and English and are bilingual in both languages.

The camp will offer children an immersion experience to learn and practice French and English through daily camp activities. Children will have the opportunity to improve their language skills at their own pace using both target languages in real-world settings.

Daily activities will be structured as follows:

  • Morning activities will be conducted in French
  • Afternoon activities will be conducted in English

They will enjoy a summer in a multicultural environment that promotes the benefits of both French and American cultures.
