The French American Academy

Our Mission Statement

The French American Academy strives to provide the highest educational standards with a bilingual, comprehensive curriculum in a safe and creative environment.

We foster an atmosphere that promotes critical thinking, curiosity, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. We encourage the physical, social and emotional development of our students in a nurturing, multicultural setting.

Anne-Sophie Gueguen, Head of School and Founder

We cultivate individual talents and aspire to see our students become well-rounded, lifelong learners, who are respectful, confident, positive, open-minded, and globally literate.  The French American Academy offers an early-start, gradual immersion, dual language education to students from Pre-K2 through 6th grade.

FAA’s world-class, bilingual curriculum offers more than second language acquisition. Our full-time program provides students a proven path for cognitive development, social growth and academic success, including measurable progress in core skills like reading and writing, math and science.

Our student-centered program features:

  • Deeply dedicated, experienced faculty
  • Small class sizes with high teacher to student ratios
  • An interactive learning environment that stimulates and cultivates each student’s potential for excellence.
  • An effective balance between the latest learning research and teaching techniques and the traditional disciplines found in a challenging, classical academy education.

FAA is a private academy supporting and enabling the four 21st century skills that the students need to be successful:

  • Communication    – Collaboration   -Creativity    -Critical Thinking
