Town Square’s 12th Annual Schoolfest

Greenpoint/Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY: On Saturday, September 21st, 2019 from 12 to 5 PMSCHOOLFEST 2019 will return to Middle School 126 in Brooklyn.  For 12 years, this one-of-a-kind school fair has brought together public schools, charter schools, private schools, early childhood centers, K-12 and extracurricular activity providers for the benefit of North Brooklyn families.  Families will learn about diverse educational opportunities from early childhood to high school, while sampling community potluck dishes and enjoying a fun family afternoon!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND SCHOOLFEST?

·        Most importantly, Schoolfest understands that parents can often be overwhelmed by school choices and admission processes. Schoolfest helps parents navigate through the confusion so that they can make the best choice for their child’s educational needs

·        Unique chance to meet many schools and enrichment providers in one day, and narrow your search to a short list that is best for your child.

·        Informative workshops presented and/or moderated by renowned Joyce Szuflita of NY School Help.

·        Fun family activities by local enrichment providers.

·        Live music for adults and kids by Hopalong Andrew, Jana Astanov, IS 318 Rock Band and more.

·        Yummy international potluck, reflecting the diverse tapestry of North Brooklyn.
