PJ Library kicked off its New Year celebration with a NYC rooftop event.


PJ Library kicked off its annual New Year celebration with a vibrant rooftop gathering in New York City. The event brought together a diverse group of attendees, including corporate partners, authors, illustrators, and key community members such as parent and grandparent connectors. It provided a unique opportunity for networking, collaboration, and celebrating the organization’s ongoing impact on Jewish families worldwide.

Alex Zablotsky, PJ Library’s Executive Director, and Meara Ashtivker, Director of PJ Library in New York, expressed heartfelt thanks to those in attendance, recognizing the collective efforts that have turned PJ Library into an international success, fostering Jewish literacy for countless families.

A highlight of the evening was the address by Yuval Donio-Gideon, Consul for Public Diplomacy at the Consulate General of Israel in New York. He commended PJ Library’s dedication to promoting Jewish values and culture through its books, emphasizing the program’s significant influence not only in the United States but also in Israel and beyond.

PJ Library, a project of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, is a North American non-profit based in Agawam, Massachusetts. The organization sends free Jewish children’s books and resources to families across the globe, making Jewish culture, stories, and traditions accessible to all. Through its widespread reach, PJ Library continues to strengthen Jewish identity and education within communities everywhere.
