Club SciKidz is a multi-themed science summer camp for children in grades Pre-K through 7th grade. We offer multiple domains of science such as medicine, engineering, robotics, and weather. There are locations in Plainview (Plainview Jewish Center), Hicksville (Trinity Lutheran School) and Oakdale (B’nai Israel Temple). The summer camps run from 9am through 4pm with the option of early drop-off at 8am and late pickup at 5:30pm. Each camp theme runs a full week. The children create projects that they keep and take home. The camps are fun and educational and employ real science. Some of the camps we offer:

– Junior Scientist: we cover a broad range of fun and exciting science topics in Chemistry, Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, and Lab Process Skills. Your camper will enjoy the many make-and-take projects, and that makes for a fantastic STEM summer.

– Great Masters: Design, draw, build, construct, paint and sculpt as you explore the great artists and engineers of the world while creating your own distinctive flair. This camp offers hands-on imaginative projects while combining art and engineering.

– Junior Physician: Campers will learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer. The week is jam-packed with exciting and interesting experiments all centered on the amazing human body.

– Little Engineer: Campers will be immersed into our toy maker’s workshop as they construct and take home several different toy projects during the week. Each project will teach an important physical property.

– Advanced Lego with Spike: Combining colorful LEGO building elements, easy–to–use hardware, and an intuitive drag–and–drop coding language based on Scratch, SPIKE Prime continuously engages campers through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning level. SPIKE Prime helps campers learn the essential STEAM and 21st century skills needed to become the innovative minds of tomorrow… while having fun.
