HI DanceSource Dancers, Friends and Families,
We hope you are all settling into your school schedules, so that you’ll know what classes you’ll be attending this fall. We miss a lot of you in class right now!!!
The DVDs of the 2013 DanceSource Recital are In and are ready to be sold. A single DVD is $15, 2 DVDs of both shoes will be $25. Thanks to all of you who took place in a wonderful recital this year, we’re anxious to see you back in class.
We will be taking part in the Forest Hills Austin Street Fair this coming Sunday, September 29th. We’ll be near Barnes & Noble, so come say hello, and enjoy the Street Fair.
Note: If you are in a Ballet 5/6 class and are going to be in need of a make up class or two, Dianna Petty will be teaching two Sunday Ballet 5/6 classes from 1 to 3PM on October 13 and October 20th. If you need make up classes, then come to either or both classes
We’ve started some new classes, and hired a few new teachers, so please pay special attention to what classes are being offered right now.
And for those of you who will be joining us now, the prices are a little cheaper, as we’re one month into the fall season. So please figure out your school schedules, then figure out when you can come to us. Anyone wishing special consideration on class prices, please contact Dianna directly. We promise to make your dance budget manageable.

We greatly appreciate your patronage, and look forward to having you back soon, and if not, let us know what you’re up to. And if you do like what we’re doing, we’ll appreciate if you tell your friends about us as well, and encourage them to come meet us at The DanceSource.
Thanks so much! Hope to see you in class soon, and hope to hear from you soon.
I am happy to report that we have had a very steady clientele year after year with dancers who wish to better their dance technique, knowing that there is so much more to learn than just one year’s experience can offer. This year we have a batch of 12 year old Ballet dancers who have been with us for about 5 years, and it’s time to take them to pointe shoes. I cannot begin to tell you the excitement, the joy of these young dancers who will be experiencing this very benchmarked experience in a young dancer’s life. We offer this level of professionalism in all our dance forms, for Tap, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Modern, Hip Hop, Belly Dance, Bollywood, Barata Nathyam, Arte Jujitsu, Yoga and Pilates.
I had a parent tell me the other day that her dancers were “amateur”, “On the contrary!” I said. Every dancer that comes to The DanceSource is seen as a potential professional dancer. It’s up to them, and how much time they choose to invest as to how well developed a dancer they become. I have several dancers who have gone on to a full dance career, or dance education. We will be able to offer you training that will take you to a level that will give you the ability to walk into any dance audition, or try for any dance company that you choose. It is my hope to take every dancer to a professional level of dance skill; it’s up to them if they accept that challenge.
Sincerely,
Dianna Petty
