About Us

Imagine That!!!, A New Jersey Children’s Museum is one of the few local museums that specializes in pre-school age and young school children. For 20 years, Imagine That!!! has provided safe, educational fun for children at several locations throughout New Jersey. Now centralized in one large facility in Florham Park, NJ, we offer a wide variety of exhibits and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Learning through play

At Imagine That!!!, children are encouraged to touch, discover, learn and explore in our 16,000 square foot space, featuring over 50 unique exhibits. Embracing a learning-through-play model, Imagine That!!! is a safe environment where young children can stretch their legs and their imagination. Children will discover interesting exhibits while absorbing and cementing important concepts as they go. Our exhibits are specifically designed to stimulate the child’s imagination and intellect while providing them with a fun and exciting day!

Our mascot In December 2008, Imagine That!!! held a contest to name our mascot, the cartoon owl who hoots on the home page of this website. We received a bunch of entries with many great names, but there could only be one winner. The staff of Imagine That!!! sifted through the entries and made the official announcement on Jan. 1, 2009. The winner, four-year-old Charisse, named Ollie the Owl!

Our Facility

With rave reviews for our cleanliness and a bright, open floor plan design, our facility includes a gift shop packed with great educational toys, an online gift registry, a cafe with healthy menu items and special treats, and plenty of free parking. We are a one-level, no-stairs facility that makes us comfortable and accessible for wheelchairs and anyone with special needs or mobility issues.

Hours, Guests & House Rules
Imagine That!!! is open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Call for holiday hours. The Imagine That!!! Online Gift Registry is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week! Please note, strollers are not permitted in the museum, and outside food is not allowed.

Our staff

We take great pride in our staff here at Imagine That!!!, and provide training for all employees in our museum exhibits, so that you get the most out of your visit. From our party hosts and hostesses to our puppet show performers, the Imagine That!!! family of staff is on hand to help make your visit an enjoyable one. Many of our local staff members come from area colleges such as Centenary College, Monmouth University, and Montclair State University. Others come from farther afield and hold degrees from George Mason University, The George Washington University, Mt. Holyoke College, The University of Georgia, University of Pennsylvania and many more. We are a multi-lingual staff, with speakers of Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian and Albanian. We actively seek out employees who understand and believe in our educational model, and who enjoy working with the public on a daily basis.

 A day of fun for one low price!

Admission fees are $9.95 for an adult and $10.95 for a child. We accept Master Card, Visa or Cash. We do not accept checks. There is no charge for infants under one year. The admission fee includes unlimited time to explore the activities of our childrens museum in New Jersey
