Our Focus
The Y is a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. That’s because a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.
We believe that to bring about meaningful change in individuals and communities, we must be focused and accountable. At the Y, we measure the success of our cause by how well we engage communities in our three areas of focus.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Nurturing the potential of every child and teen.
HEALTHY LIVING
Improving the nation’s health and well-being.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Giving back and providing support to our neighbors.
Opportunities for All
The Y is for everyone. Our programs, services and initiatives: enable kids to realize their potential, prepare teens for college, offer ways for families to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, prepare people for employment, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster a nationwide service ethic. And that’s just the beginning.
Registering for Programs
All classes have ongoing registration on a first-come, first-served basis. Program registration will not be accepted unless membership is current and extends through the end of the program. Most Family Y programs require the participants to be members of the Family Y.
The Family Y offers four Program Sessions each year: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Early registration for Family members typically begins about six weeks before each session begins; Adult and Youth member registration begins a week after Early registration for Family members opens.
You may register for programs in person at our Welcome Desk, or through our online registration system.
See our current program brochure for complete details of the swim registration procedure. Most Family Y programs require the participants to be members of the Family Y.
