Our promise to you:

• We will accept any child from the age of 10 — 13, no matter their previous knowledge of Judaism or Hebrew
• We will teach your child to read the blessings for an Aliyah and the Haftara, to read his/her Haftara in Hebrew and prepare a speech for his/her Bar/Bat Mitzvah
• We will provide your child with his/her Haftara in pdf format and an mp3 of it being chanted by our Rabbi
• We will arrange a delicious luncheon Kiddush for your family, guests and our members on the day of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
• We will make your whole family comfortable in the Synagogue setting, no matter how unfamiliar it may be to you
• We will guide your whole family in performing their roles at their son or daughter’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah, whether it be an English reading, an Ark Opening, or reading a Blessing in Hebrew (with English Transliteration).

Your promise to us:

• Your child will attend Sunday morning Hebrew School regularly and consistently
• Your child will attend all scheduled private lessons
• Your family will attend at least six regular or Family Shabbat morning services during each year of their participation in our program.
